The INDG 479 is an official document offering Fit Testing guidance, published by BSIF (British Safety industry Federation) working alongside the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The suite of documents are known as Fit2Fit Companions. These outline procedures for fit testing respiratory protective equipment (RPE). The INDG 479 replaces and supersedes the previous guidance document HSE OC282/28, which was titled Fit Testing of Respiratory Protective Equipment Face Pieces.
