CR2 reflective decals are designed to enhance the visibility of your safety helmet, especially in low-light environments. For the best results and durability, it’s important to apply them correctly.
Fitting Instructions:
Ensure the helmet is clean and dry
- Use mild soap and warm water to clean the surface of the helmet.
- Dry with a soft cloth and make sure there is no residue, grease, or moisture.
Work in a clean, dry environment
- Apply decals in an area free from dust, dirt, or extreme temperatures.
- Ideal temperature for application is between +10°C and +25°C.
Position the decals carefully
- Use the guides included with the decal pack to correctly position each piece.
- Make sure the decals align with helmet contours and do not cover any ventilation or accessory slots.
Apply pressure evenly
- Once positioned, press down firmly starting from the centre of each decal and working outwards.
- Smooth out any air bubbles as you go to ensure full adhesion.
Allow time to bond
- Avoid handling or fitting accessories over the decals for at least 24 hours, allowing proper adhesion.
Important Notes:
- Only use CR2 decals supplied or approved by JSP to ensure compatibility with helmet materials.
- Do not apply decals over cracks or damage on the helmet.
- Applying unauthorised decals or adhesives can compromise the performance and compliance of the helmet.
